Kenny Elissonde

The French climber enjoyed a lively start to the year and played a key role in setting up Wout Poels’ Tour Down Under podium finish, setting a searing tempo up Willunga Hill. At the turn of the month Kenny also took a great third place on the second day of the Herald Sun Tour, finishing in elite company into Churchill.

Kristoffer Halvorsen

After a top-10 sprint finish in a star-studded Tour Down Under field, the young Norwegian picked up a second place by the narrowest of margins at the start of Herald Sun Tour. We all knew this guy was knocking on the door of a win, and in January he laid the foundations for what has already proven to be a strong start to February.

Wout Poels

It was Wout’s first trip to Tour Down Under but you wouldn’t have known it. The Dutchman rode a very impressive race, coming as close as anyone to breaking Richie Porte’s stranglehold on Willunga Hill. Second place on the queen stage set him up for third overall. A strong start to the WorldTour season.

Pavel Sivakov

This young rider keeps on impressing and showed some encouraging signs in January. An attacking performance and a strong start to Herald Sun Tour demonstrated what Sivakov is capable of, especially with the benefit of a full injury-free off-season under his belt.
