At just 22 years of age Egan Bernal continues to build an incredible palmares in the sport. March saw the Colombian capture the biggest win of his career by claiming overall victory at Paris-Nice, adding his name to a star-studded list of winners. Egan rounded out the month by securing a hard-fought third place finish at Volta Catalunya - 12 months after he crashed out of the event on the final day.
"With these races you believe you can do it, but until you actually do it you don’t know if you can." Owain Doull captured a breakthrough podium finish at Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne with a daring late attack. The Welshman held on take the biggest result of his career, and despite a crash at Nokere-Koerse, he was also able to contribute to the team's podium finish at Milan-San Remo.
The Polish national champion's season burst into life in March. Kwiato led Paris-Nice for three days on route to third place overall as part of Team Sky's dominance of the race. He then found himself in the thick of the battle at the first Monument of the season, part of an acceleration on the Poggio on route to taking third place at Milan-San Remo. Not a bad month all in all.
The beating heart of the team, Rowe began March by mixing it up in the crosswinds at Paris-Nice. Pivotal to Egan Bernal's overall success, Rowe then went on to Milan-San Remo, working hard to set up Kwiatkowski's podium finish. The Welshman ended the month with a rousing ride at Gent-Wevelgem which saw him constantly on the attack on his beloved cobbles.
