Magnus Sheffield sealed another top 10 finish on the final stage of the Tour Down Under to secure fourth overall and win the Zwift Best Young Rider Classification.

Sheffield's finished ninth on Mount Lofty to cap off a consistent week's racing in Australia, which saw him rewarded with his best-ever GC finish in a WorldTour race.

The short final stage looked set to be contended fiercely from kilometre zero, and soon after the start Ben Swift was part of a large break that escaped the peloton.

However, several teams missed the move and eventually combined to bring the group back within the final 30 kilometres to setup an intriguing finale.

Kim Heiduk was then active in creating a counter move which gained momentum, only to be closed down as the GC teams came to the fore in the final 10 kilometres.

The final saw Vine, Simon Yates (Team Jayco AlUla) and Ben O'Connor (AG2R Citroen) contest the stage win, with Sheffield finishing in a chase group just behind to secure fourth overall and the white jersey.
