Ethan Hayter sprinted to an impressive third place as the Giro della Toscana concluded in a bunch finish.
The young Brit continued his consistent recent performances to take his third top-three sprint this season.
It was Fernando Gaviria (UAE Team Emirates) who picked up the victory, launching his sprint early in Pontedera.
The INEOS Grenadiers worked hard during the day to enliven the finale. Christian Knees and Carlos Rodriguez helped reduce the advantage of the day's breakaway - while Gianni Moscon launched a late move with 17km to go.
Rodriguez and Leonardo Basso pushed the pace in the final kilometre where Hayter was able to pick up another good result.
