The INEOS Grenadiers and Gobik are delighted to announce an exciting new long-term partnership commencing in January 2024, which launches with a stunning new design for next season.
This new deal spans all of the on-bike racing apparel for the INEOS Grenadiers and further extends the innovative Spanish cycling clothing brand’s commitment to professional cycling.
The partnership offers Gobik the opportunity to work with one of cycling’s most prominent teams and in doing so access a range of possibilities for the future. Additionally, it will also seek to increase its brand awareness and further grow Gobik across multiple international markets.
Collaborating with a team of the level of the Grenadiers provides Gobik the opportunity for further enhancements in product innovation and development. Direct feedback from the team’s riders, who test and race the product throughout the season in all weather conditions, will help to evolve and perfect them, and through doing so will add to Gobik’s collection.
Gobik’s CEO and Co-founder, Alberto Garcia said: “This alliance is a great opportunity to be part of the structure that is the INEOS Grenadiers. They have always been characterised by being at the forefront, both at a sporting level in the preparation of the riders and at a technological level with all the material, bicycles, accessories and of course, the apparel they will wear throughout the season.
“We are sure that at technical levels, in terms of aerodynamics and performance, the joint work with the team in the coming years will mean an important advancement in our products that of course will ultimately reach the end consumer.”
Gobik's CEO and Co-Founder, Jose Ramón said: “Gobik has always been moved by a non-conformity mindset in the design and manufacture of cycling clothing, always trying to inspire our followers with our actions and apparel.
“In this framework, a team with as much history as the INEOS Grenadiers is a perfect partner for us that allows us to amplify our brand's message to cyclists and fans worldwide.”
The INEOS Grenadiers are enormously impressed by the level of attention to detail that Gobik demonstrates throughout their production process and across their wider business. Working with some of the best athletes in the world demands a lot of the garment supplier, and Gobik has shown it’s up for the challenge.
INEOS Grenadiers CEO, John Allert said: “From when we first met with Gobik in Murcia we felt there was a connection, I could tell they were ready to take on the challenge. The INEOS Grenadiers ethos is founded upon continual improvement and pushing boundaries, disrupting the norm; to keep doing that requires partners who are willing to be aligned to that ethos and be a part of the journey, Gobik has shown us that’s the way it operates too. The quality of the race kit has such a dramatic impact on rider performance, therefore choosing a kit partner is not something we take lightly, I’m looking forward to seeing where this collaboration takes us and them in 2024.”
The apparel that the Grenadiers will wear features a wide selection of technical garments with the most advanced fabrics, designed to help riders in the most extreme conditions. In addition, they will have three new products; a jersey (Reactive), a bib short (Lancer) and gloves (Viper). All of them will be part of the high-end collection developed for the highest level of the WorldTour, and will be available to every cyclist through the Gobik website and its points of sale.
