Team Sky will race on the Pinarello DOGMA F10 in 2018 as the team’s successful partnership with the Italian company enters its ninth year.

With a new paint scheme for the upcoming season, the F10 will also feature a MOST cockpit, with the Pinarello component brand becoming an official Team Sky partner.

Starting from the frame’s matt black paint, the new scheme adds a touch of white, and a blue bar on the top tube to match with the team’s new kit. The data pattern has also been updated to represent each of Team Sky’s 2017 victories.

Lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic than the previous DOGMA F8, the DOGMA F10confirmed all its potential during the 2017 season, with the historical Tour-Vuelta Double for Chris Froome, as well as Milan-San Remo, Strade Bianche and Clasica San Sebastian for Michal Kwiatkowski, in addition to a host of other victories.

Pinarello owner Fausto Pinarello said: “The results obtained by the Team Sky with our DOGMA F10 in this 2017 speak for themselves, and we are very proud of the job done so far. The new 2018 scheme is more than an amazing color evolution, it was clearly designed to give a faster and lighter style to the bike. A natural born winner style!”

Team Sky Team Principal Sir Dave Brailsford said: “We love the look of the new Team Sky Pinarello DOGMA F10 for 2018. The success we have had together is testament to the relationship between Team Sky and Pinarello, and we look forward to continuing this for many years to come.”

For the new season Team Sky riders will use a brand new cockpit designed by MOST, with the integrated handlebar Talon Aero 1K Di2, the iTalon GPS Support and the Ultragrip bar tape. The new cockpit gives an increased level of control to the riders, in addition to a best in class aerodynamic impact thanks to a perfect match with the Pinarello DOGMA F10 frame, yet also retains comfort for long distance rides.

Hours and hours of research and development by the Pinarello Lab ensures every single part has been designed looking for the perfect balance in terms of aerodynamics, weight and ride feeling. The result is an integrated handlebar, the Talon Aero 1k Di2, inspired by the F10’s aerodynamic design and perfectly integrated to the frame.

The cockpit will be mounted with Ultragripbar tape. Developed specifically for Team Sky, this tape is incredibly light and guarantees a perfect grip. Made with innovative materials, Ultragriphas an inner layer designed for a great absorbability. The exterior layer, thanks to a secret special surface treatment, provides extraordinary grip in all weather conditions and a unique ride feeling even during long rides.

Team Sky Head of Technical Operations and Commercial Carsten Jeppesen said: “We’ve been working with Pinarello since our inception so bringing MOST into our partnership family enables us to take a more holistic view of future performance development. The cockpit represents a fundamental part of the bike, it plays such a crucial part of bike handling for our riders, so the opportunity to partner with MOST alongside Pinarello on a wholly integrated bike solution and design inclusive of the frame, forks, seat post and cockpit represents a natural progression for Team Sky.”
