All the best pictures from a gruelling windy day on the cobbles which saw BMC rider Greg Van Avermaet retain his Omloop Het Nieuwsblad crown.

Ian Stannard also took his turn chasing chased the leaders down, but they were able to stay away
Van Avermat, Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Sep Vanmarcke (Cannondale-Drapac) were too strong and kept a steady advantage to set up a three-man sprint
