Tour of Britain stage two: Wrexham › Wrexham, 109.9km.
Tom Pidcock finished ninth after a late crash marred the finale to stage two of the Tour of Britain.
The Grenadiers had combined well to keep Pidcock safe on a technical run-in to Wrexham, with every rider playing their part in the battle for position.
The high-speed crash in the final two kilometres hindered the Grenadiers' positioning, and Pidcock fought hard to bridge the gap to the front group.
The Yorkshire rider made up the gap, but was unable to move up past stage winner Olav Kooij who managed to win his second stage, with Pidcock finishing ninth on the same time as the Jumbo Visma rider.
