Plapp wraps up Norway podium

Luke Plapp took another step forward in his career with a first professional GC podium with third place at the Tour of Norway.
The Australian road champion secured the finish as the final stage came down to a bunch sprint, capping off a strong week for the Grenadiers.
The team rode hard all week, with some aggressive, attacking racing that saw them try to split the race on numerous occasions.
Tao Geoghegan Hart and Magnus Sheffield demonstrated strength in depth by finishing fifth and sixth overall respectively. Sheffield was caught up in a large crash with 51km to go but was able to re-join the peloton ahead of the finale.

Ethan Hayter was unable to replicate his stage two victory in the final sprint, which saw home favourite Alexander Kristoff (Intermarche-Wanty-Gobert) take the win. Overall it was Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step-AlphaVinyl) who wrapped up the GC by 56 seconds.
