Saturday race round-up

Critérium du Dauphiné stage seven: Saint-Chaffrey › Vaujany 134.8km. ZLM Tour stage four: Sint Willebrord › Mierlo, 196.5km.

Tao Geoghegan Hart moved within striking distance of the Dauphine overall podium with a gutsy performance on the penultimate stage of the race.

Geoghegan battled to ninth on a mountainous stage won by new race leader Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma) to move him fourth overall.

Ahead of the final stage, the Londoner trails third-placed Ben O'Connor by six seconds with another GC test on the cards.
Elia Viviani continued his consistent sprinting form at ZLM Tour, recording his third podium finish on stage four.

Vivani finished third in a three-way photo-finish, behind stage winner Tim DuPont (Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB) and race leader Olaf Kooij (Jumbo Visma).

The result means he moved back up to second overall,  with one final sprint stage to come on Sunday.
