Pavel Sivakov is aiming to continue to build on his recent good form in the Tour of Britain time trial as he continues his preparations for the World Championships.
After winning the Tour de Pologne, Sivakov was in action in a supporting role at the Deutschland Tour and has been on the attack at the Tour of Britain as he builds up to the TT test in Yorkshire in late September.
And while the Russian rider has been pleased with his condition this week, the 14.4km battle against the clock in Pershore represents the first time trial opportunity for him since his excellent top 10 finish at the Giro d'Italia.
He told TeamINEOS.com: “I really want to test myself in the TT, preparing for Worlds, and while stage six is much shorter than the Worlds course it will still represent a good test, that’s for sure.

"The whole process that you go through - the preparation, the warmup for the start, the concentration. It’s all so important and it’s important to get one more TT in before the Worlds - it’s perfect for that.
"I’m feeling pretty good. I’m looking forward to tomorrow to see exactly where I’m at.
"I did some TT work before the Deutschland Tour which should allow me to push a bit more. We’ll see how all that work has paid off when we race tomorrow, but I’m excited about it."
