A highlight from a recent training trip to South Africa, Chris Froome and Dylan van Baarle proudly completed their own edition of Strade Bianche on the local dirt roads. Ever the competitor, Froomey was keen to let people know he 'won'. Both riders have since returned to their homes in Europe - with Froome also sharing a shot from his gym.

After traveling back home to his native Colombia, Egan Bernal undertook the mandated quarantine period and was tested for the COVID-19 virus, happily with a negative result.

Egan used his sizeable platform in Colombia to encourage people to stay indoors, as well as paying tribute to health workers - "this is braver than winning a Grand Tour and you are all national heroes right now."
