Criterium du Dauphine - Stage 3 » Langeac › Saint-Haon-Le-Vieux, 172.2km

The INEOS Grenadiers emerged from stage three without issue at the Criterium du Dauphine with Geraint Thomas, Richie Porte and Tao Geoghegan Hart all finishing comfortably in the peloton.

After consecutive stages with breakaways prevailing, it was no surprise to see a bunch sprint on day three. The team hit the front for positioning and to drive into the closing kilometres. Andrey Amador helped push on into the final kilometres after he and Dylan van Baarle had helped bring the team forward.

Michal Kwiatkowski upped the pace in the final kilometre with Thomas on his wheel, with Van Baarle shepherding Porte to ensure they were well placed for the final roundabout and the uphill ramp to the line.

Sonny Colbrelli (Bahrain Victorious) won the stage courtesy of a long-range sprint, with Lukas Postlberger (Bora-Hansgrohe) maintaining his early overall lead.

The team's GC trio all sit 24 seconds behind the Austrian ahead of more selective stages to come.
