Tulett and Sheffield secure Norway 1-2

Tour of Norway stage three: Stavanger › Stavanger, 151.2km.

Ben Tulett and Magnus Sheffield rounded off a fantastic team performance by sealing home a 1-2 overall finish at Tour of Norway.

The duo remained first and second on GC from the prologue through until the final stage around Stavanger, with excellent support from their fellow Grenadiers which saw Tulett record his first career GC win.

The team topped the team classification, while Tulett also took home the best young rider's jersey after the four day race concluded in Stavanger.

The final stage illustrated the all-round team performance that maintained Tulett and Sheffield's GC positions for the whole race.

Luke Plapp, Leo Hayter and Connor Swift were key in maintaining a strong position for the team in changing conditions, with crosswinds threatening to cause issues at one point.

However, the peloton slowly reeled in the early break, ahead of the finish circuit which saw more attacks from the bunch.

These were dealt with by Swift and an excellent turn from Josh Tarling, who kept a fierce pace onto the final climb which positioned Tulett and Sheffield so they could deal with any counter attacks and secure a memorable 1-2 finish for the team.
