Ben Tulett pulled on the yellow jersey for a second day at the Tour of Norway after a strong ride from the INEOS Grenadiers on stage one.

The Brit retained his slender one-second lead over team-mate Magnus Sheffield after a cold and wet day in the saddle ended in a bunch sprint.

The stage was shortened to just 85.2 kilometres, with the Grenadiers setting the tempo on the front to control the stage and share the workload well on the day.

Sheffield led the team home, placing eighth in the sprint won by Mike Teunissen (Intermarche-Wanty). That elevated the American into the points jersey, in addition to the mountains jersey which he took during the stage.

The race heads to Stavanger on Sunday, with a rolling run-in and a ramp up to the line set to provide another test to the GC contenders.
