Tulett second ahead of Budapest test

Tour de Hongrie stage 4: Martonvásár › DobogókO, 206km

Ben Tulett retained second overall after an exciting finale to the queen stage of the Tour de Hongrie.

Tulett finished fifth on the stage to retain his overall position after an enthralling GC battle on the Dobogókő summit finish. .

The British rider traded attacks with fellow GC contenders, working with Egan Bernal as the pair tried to split the small group on the final climb.

Jhonatan Narvaez kicked off the attacks as the GC group aimed to bring the early break back. He attacked twice to spark a reaction from the favourites, with each of the top five trying to dethrone leader Marc Hirschi.

The stage winner came during these cat-and-mouse attacks as Yannis Voisard's (Tudor Pro Cycling) acceleration went unchecked and he raced to victory, with the GC group sprinting for the podium places behind ahead of Sunday's final circuit stage in Budapest which will decide the race.
