Team to start seventh in Hammer Chase

Team INEOS battled back from a slow start to finish fifth in the Hammer Sprint in Norway, setting up a seventh place start in Sunday's finale.

Sprints from Ben Swift and Chris Lawless got the team on the board early, but as the race became decimated it was Michal Golas who infiltrated the key breakaway.

The Pole was alert as the group broke down, working alongside former team-mate Lukasz Wisniowski (CCC Team) in the final three laps to ensure they stayed clear, securing key points in the process.

A consistent showing of sixth and fifth across the two days mean Team INEOS will go off seventh in the team time trial finale.
