Youngsters impress in Besseges TT
Etoile de Bessèges - Tour du Gard - Stage 5: Alès ITT, 10.66km
A trio of young Grenadiers set superb times in the concluding time trial at Etoile de Bessèges - led by neo-pro Josh Tarling.
The reigning junior world time trial champion set the second fastest time in his first pro TT, just eight seconds off stage victor Mads Pedersen (Trek Segafredo).
Ben Tulett was third, two seconds back on his teammate, with Ben Turner also putting in a top ride to take seventh place.
In the GC battle Pavel Sivakov dug deep on the final climb to set a strong time and secure fifth place overall. The Grenadier finished the five-day event 1:27 back on overall winner Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost).
