Back to back third places for Victor

Victor Langellotti continues to impress at the Tour of Norway after securing back to back third-place finishes.

The Monegasque rider claimed more key bonus seconds to solidify his second place overall ahead of Sunday's finale.

The Grenadier sits 16 seconds back on leader Matthew Brennan (Visma | Lease a Bike), with the Brit finishing second behind Maxim Van Gils (Red Bull - Bora - Hansgrohe) into Heja.

Langellotti was able to follow the accelerations heading into the final couple of kilometres, but would lose positions on the switchbacks of the final climb. A big acceleration saw him take momentum into the final metres, but a narrow road gave him no scope to attack his rivals.

Instead attention turned to the final sprint, with third place another strong result.

Once again the team worked hard to set up Victor, stringing out the bunch, setting a strong tempo and shutting down accelerations.
