Egan Bernal claimed third on stage three of Tour of the Alps, with Thymen Arensman maintaining second on GC.
A sprint finish saw Bernal kick to take third place behind winner Tom Pidcock (Pinarello Q36.5), while Arensman finished in the bunch to maintain his place on GC, with Bernal now up to third overall.
Aggressive racing defined the early kilometres, as repeated attacks animated the peloton from the start.
Up front, two riders managed to break clear and establish a gap of around two minutes, holding a slender advantage as the race headed into the decisive climbs. Behind them, the peloton remained controlled, with Tobias Foss setting a strong, steady tempo on the Andalo climb to support team leaders Bernal and Arensman.
As the race built towards its conclusion, the break was reeled in on the descent with just five kilometres remaining.
Inside the final two kilometres, Bernal made a decisive move, pushing on in an attempt to split the group. But with teams organised behind, the race ultimately came back together, leading to a sprint finish.
In the dash to the line, Pidcock proved fastest, taking the stage victory, while Bernal secured third place after an aggressive finale. Arensman safely finished in the front group, maintaining his strong position in the general classification just ahead of Bernal.
Unfortunately Victor Langellotti crashed early on in the stage, sustaining skin abrasions and a head impact. Following medical assessment, he has been withdrawn from the race. He will return home for recovery under the care and close monitoring of our medical team, and will follow the UCI Concussion and return to training protocol. We wish him a speedy recovery!

Fleche Wallonne
Elsewhere, the Grenadiers were competing in the one-day Ardennes classic Fleche Wallonne, with Kevin Vauquelin our top finisher.
After an aggressive start, a breakaway of six riders eventually established itself, building a three minute advantage with 155km still to race.
The peloton kept the move under control throughout the day, steadily chipping away at the gap as the race wore on. One by one, the breakaway began to fragment under pressure, and the peloton was all together with just 6.5km to go.
Jack Haig was well placed inside the bunch with 5km remaining, guiding Kevin Vauquelin to the foot of the Mur de Huy. A misjudged corner saw Vauquelin just fall out of position as they hit the iconic climb. The Frenchman dug deep, ultimately crossing the line in 13th place.
