Victor Langellotti showed a superb turn of speed to sprint to third place on a tough uphill finish at the Tour of Norway.
The Monaco-native finished off an attacking finale to stage two from the INEOS Grenadiers, picking up his best result for the team thus far into Oltedal.
Langellotti strung out the peloton late on before hitting out early on the final drag up to the line, only to be overhauled in the final metres.
Matthew Brennan (Visma | Lease a Bike) timed his efforts well to win the stage ahead of Maxim Van Gils (Red Bull - Bora - Hansgrohe).
On the run-in AJ August was amongst a flurry of attackers, before the American and Omar Fraile returned to the front ahead of the final kilometre to help position Langellotti.
The result sees Victor jump up to second overall at the race's halfway point, 12 seconds back on new leader Brennan.
