Ben Turner fired to second place on the third stage at CRO Race in a tight photo finish.

Turner was led out well, with Bob Jungels, Magnus Sheffield, Connor Swift and Kim Heiduk all taking turns into the closing stages of the race. The super duo of Michal Kwiatkowski and Turner saw the pair take control, with Turner launching his attack in the final metres.

GC leader Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step) just took the win with a throw on the line, inches ahead of Turner in second, while Heiduk managed to hang on for fifth place on the stage.

Turner now also sits second on the GC with three stages to go.
