Victor takes third in Poland as Bernal returns to Burgos

Victor Langellotti finished third on the second stage of the Tour de Pologne to also move up on the GC, while Egan Bernal returned to racing at Vuelta Burgos.

Victor Langellotti put in a huge effort on the uphill finish in Poland to take third on the stage.

The Grenadiers spearheaded the bunch for most of the day, with an early break caught in the closing stages of the race. Michal Kwiatkowski led out Magnus Sheffield up to the finish, with Langellotti coming around them to sprint to third.

Vuelta Burgos

Egan Bernal returned to the start line at Vuelta Burgos, sprinting to eighth place after a dramatic finish.

A break of two went clear early on, but were reeled in with 13km remaining. An uphill finish saw Bernal take eighth, with Brandon Rivera coming home just behind in 10th.

The race also marked an INEOS Grenadiers debut for Peter Oxenberg.
