Biography
Philip Deignan became the first Irishman to ride for Team Sky in 2014 and quickly established himself as a popular member of the squad.
An experienced climber, Deignan excelled in last season's Giro d'Italia - his 10th Grand Tour appearance. One of the strongest domestiques in cycling, he will be hoping for another consistent campaign at the head of the peloton.
