PAULINE FERRAND-PREVOT PUT IN A COMMANDING PERFORMANCE TO CLAIM VICTORY IN THE FRENCH CUP XCO RACE IN MARSEILLE, AND IN DOING SO SECURED THE TEAM'S 500TH RACE VICTORY.

The Grenadier was unbeatable across five laps of the Marseille-Luminy course, leading home nearest challenger Savilia Blunk by one minute and 17 seconds. Laura Stigger rounded out the top three, 3:12 back.

Victory continued Ferrand-Prevot's unbeaten start to the season in XCO competition, following up two wins on Spanish soil. The result also backed up his close runner-up finish in Friday's XCC short track, as the French rider continues to build towards the Olympics.

Pauline's win brought up a magnificent milestone of 500 wins in UCI competition for the team - an amazing achievement dating back to the team's inception ahead of the 2010 season.
